Rectors of Blunsdon from 1299

Cottages in nearby Purton

Purton church, one on only 3 in the country with both a tower and a spire.  The reason for this was the two sisters who were the benefactors could not agree on which to build so they built both!

My trusty steed awaits!

Purton Manor

The Swindon and Cricklade railway, privately owned and funded.

This carriage was actually the home of an elderly lady for many years!

Only the best for me!

This was the first time I'd been on a train for 30 years!

Uh oh!  Time to call the AAA?

Taken from the buffet car
